Job summary

Nalley Consulting is seeking a Data Scientist for the DIA Headquarters to design and analyze data pipelines and models. The role requires building data-driven insights from structured and unstructured sources to support intelligence workflows.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years in Python/R, experience with SQL databases, and active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required; DoD experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with major data science languages, such as Python and R.
• 3+ years of experience retrieving, merging, and analyzing structured and unstructured data sources from APIs and databases through Python, R, and/or SQL.
• Experience with database design and administration in DBMS such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI/ML.

Shift: No

Required clearance:Active TS/SCI clearance with active CI poly conducted within the past seven years
Required education: Bachelor’s degree + 8 YOE or 12 YOE years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree

Basic Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience with major data science languages, such as Python and R
• 3+ years of experience retrieving, merging, and analyzing structured and unstructured data sources from APIs and databases through Python, R, and/or SQL
• Experience with database design and administration in DBMS such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Experience with data analytics, data mining, statistical analysis, or AI/ML

Desired qualifications

• Experience with data visualization software, such as Tableau and PowerBI
• Experience conducting data architecture and ETL for the DoD or a federal agency
• Familiarity with HUMINT
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies, including git, Jenkins, SonarQube, etc.
