Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer, Launch Software, to join the application software team. You will own building mission critical software used across SpaceX for launch and Starlink operations, collaborating with engineers to evolve systems for Starship manufacturing and Starlink networks.

You will work on a variety of platforms, from data pipelines to customer facing systems, and contribute to architecture, design, and performance improvements while embracing SpaceX's fast-paced,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in full stack development and SPA applications.
• Proficiency with version control, CI/CD concepts, and software design.
• Strong understanding of testing, deployment and monitoring practices.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Experience with data streaming and message queues is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop highly reliable, mission critical software across SpaceX.
• Create new applications to improve operations and production.
• Build prototypes to validate design concepts and constraints.
• Own end-to-end software engineering and product development.
• Analyze users' problems and craft efficient solutions.
• Contribute to architecture, design discussions and code reviews.
