Job summary

Rippling is seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in San Francisco to work on full-stack development. You will build robust, well-designed products, implement updates and features, and solve complex problems affecting the business and clients.

Interns gain experience of full-time engineers with responsibilities and ownership. You will be assigned projects scoped to fit the 13-week program, with a dedicated mentor supporting your learning and development.

Qualifications

• Experience internship/Co-op in software engineering, backend with Python and frontend using JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field with graduation after the internship.
• Excellent communication skills to work cross functionally and across departments.
• Solid frontend programming skills with an emphasis on backend experience and knowledge.
• Ability to adapt and ask action-oriented questions to progress.
• Passion and drive to constantly learn and develop your engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize your software engineering experience to tackle important projects, solving problems, and developing quality code.
• Think critically and apply your knowledge to real world, complex problems.
• Actively participate in team meetings to scope, drive, and progress your projects.
