Job summary

Rippling is seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to contribute on one of our software teams, delivering robust, well‑designed code and features while gaining ownership on meaningful projects. You will work closely with mentors and engineers, learn our systems, and participate in team meetings and company events during your 13‑week program.

You will apply Python and backend skills to real problems, communicate across functions, and experience the pace and impact of a full‑time

Qualifications

• Previous internship/Co-op experience in software engineering utilizing Python.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or in a related field graduating after the internship's completion.
• Excellent communication skills to work cross functionally and across departments.
• Solid programming skills with an emphasis on backend experience and knowledge.
• Ability to adapt and ask action-oriented questions to progress.
• Passion and drive to constantly learn and develop your engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilize your software engineering experience to tackle important projects, solving problems, and developing quality code.
• Think critically and apply your knowledge to real world, complex problems.
• Actively participate in team meetings to scope, drive, and progress your projects.
• Learn about the business, our clients’ needs, and the impact of your team and related projects.
