Job summary

Rippling is seeking an Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 (May–September) to work on full-stack software projects, spanning frontend and backend tasks. You will gain hands-on experience and ownership on meaningful features that affect our platform and clients.

You will join a dedicated team, receive mentoring from seasoned engineers, and participate in intern events and leadership talks to accelerate your growth during the 13-week program.

Qualifications

• Previous internship/Co-op in software engineering, with backend using Python and frontend with JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or related field with graduation after the internship.
• Excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally.
• Solid frontend programming with backend awareness and experience.
• Ability to adapt and ask action-oriented questions to progress.
• Desire to learn and develop engineering skills continuously.

Responsibilities

• Work on full-stack software projects across frontend and backend.
• Tackle real-world problems with critical thinking and quality code.
• Participate in team meetings to scope and drive projects.
• Learn the business needs and impact of your work for Rippling’s clients.
• Attend Meet & Greets with executives and teams to understand the company.
