Job summary

Jobtailor in Kentucky seeks a senior full stack engineer to design, develop, test, operate and maintain software products. You will own the full stack, writing production-ready, testable code and delivering scalable, reliable systems.

You will apply Hogan DDA application knowledge, work with legacy COBOL/JCL environments, and drive security and compliance across the product lifecycle while collaborating across teams to improve reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Three to five years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Hogan DDA Application.
• Extensive knowledge of Hogan process dictionary components and PCDs.
• Experience with CICS/VTAM and/or IMS/DB2, COBOL II, Easy Trieve, JCL, MVS, Expeditor, and Gitlab.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, operate, and maintain products.
• Own full stack development with production-ready, testable code.
• Ensure scalable, reliable, and high-performance designs.
• Perform failure analysis and propose design changes.
• Prioritize customer experience in design and coding decisions.
• Incorporate feedback from code reviews to meet standards.
• Conduct code reviews to promote best practices and compliance.
• Ensure compliance and security best practices across development.
• Support software reliability engineering standards.
• Contribute to technology transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate for continuous improvement and timely delivery.
• Anticipate blockers and communicate delays early.
