Job summary

The Trade Desk, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer II at our San Jose, CA office. You will design system architectures and build internal web applications using C#, TypeScript, and React within a .NET stack.

Responsibilities include API development, CI/CD, testing, and collaboration with product teams to deliver production-ready features. You will also develop AI-assisted automation in Python to streamline tasks and improve internal tooling, while ensuring secure, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or related field required.
• 2 years coding experience in modern languages.
• Full-stack software engineering experience.
• Technical communication experience with design docs and stakeholder updates.
• Experience with object-oriented programming, Transact-SQL, and SDLC processes.
• Experience with Python and building AI-assisted tools.

Responsibilities

• Design system architectures and app components for internal web apps and services.
• Implement and maintain internal web apps using C#, TypeScript, React, and .NET; develop REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Build and operate CI/CD pipelines for microservices and web apps; monitor releases and fix deployments.
• Develop automated tests (unit/integration/e2e) and ensure test coverage.
• Analyze usage and performance data to inform improvements and priorities.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate needs into designs; deliver production-ready features.
• Own end-to-end feature lifecycle including rollout and iteration based on feedback.
• Build AI-assisted tools in Python to streamline tasks and enhance internal tooling.
