Job summary

True Talent Solutions Partners is seeking a software engineer to join an AI company building software for engineering design and simulation. You will own features end-to-end, from frontend interfaces to backend services, with a focus on reliability and deployment.

The role blends frontend work with React/TypeScript and .NET, plus backend/infra tasks, and requires work onsite in San Mateo every six weeks while based in Canada. Hybrid arrangement.

Qualifications

• 3–10+ years of software engineering experience in full stack web product development.
• Strong backend and frontend skills with React and TypeScript; .NET experience relevant.
• Experience with AI coding agents and reviewing their output.
• Track record shipping products from concept to production, preferably in startups.
• Experience owning architecture, deployment, reliability; adaptable to priorities.
• Interest in physical systems, engineering design, CAD, or simulation.
• Located in the United States or Canada; eligible to work there without visa sponsorship; onsite weekly in San Mateo.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with frontend engineer to improve product interface and accelerate releases.
• Build and own features end-to-end, including architecture, deployment, and reliability.
• Take on backend-focused full stack work, including new features, infrastructure, and systems.
• Establish practices for AI-assisted, agent-driven software development.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and research teams to prototype ideas for industrial users.
