Workstream is a mission-driven company building the HR, payroll, and hiring platform for hourly workers. We are seeking a talented Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our growing engineering team and help scale our cloud-based product.

This full-time, hybrid role requires 1-2 days in-office per week to support close cross-functional collaboration with product, design, and success teams. You will build scalable features, improve performance, and contribute to high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficient in at least one of Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript.
• Experience with scalable, high-availability systems and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack features in collaboration with product and design teams.
• Deliver high-quality software through test-driven development (TDD).
• Communicate with stakeholders across Engineering, Product, and Customer Success.
• Design distributed systems with scalability in mind.
