Job summary

Workstream, a mission-driven company, is seeking a Software Engineer (Full Stack) for a hybrid role in Lehi, UT. The position offers a base salary of USD 100,000–140,000 per year plus equity. You will work with a team focused on cloud technology solutions that empower deskless workers.

The ideal candidate has 3–7+ years of experience, proficiency across full-stack languages, and familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and AWS. Strong communication in English, with Chinese preferred, is valued.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript with full-stack development experience.
• Experience building scalable, high-availability applications and distributed systems.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and choosing between them.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms.
• Willingness to communicate in English; bilingual English/Chinese preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers and engineers to deliver well-scoped features.
• Advocate for test-driven development to ensure high-quality code.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Design and develop cloud-based, scalable backend and frontend components.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable deployment.
