Job summary

Method Financial is seeking a full-stack software engineer to own projects end-to-end on a backend-leaning stack, using Node.js, React, and MongoDB. You’ll build scalable features and deliver delightful user experiences across the platform.

You’ll investigate issues with our monitoring tools, participate in code reviews, and help define the roadmap by deeply understanding customer needs. The role is based in the US with a base salary range of $150,000–$195,000.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time software engineering experience.
• Experience building scalable production applications.
• Experience with Node/JS, React and MongoDB/NoSQL.
• Strong communication and ability to break problems into tasks.

Responsibilities

• Build and create with JavaScript across the platform.
• Investigate and debug issues using monitoring and logging tools.
• Participate in code reviews and interview new team members.
• Collaborate with the team to define the roadmap by understanding customers’ needs.
