Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a Software Engineer in Dearborn, MI to design, develop, test, and maintain software for automotive power management and controls. You will work across the full stack, including UI and server-side components, applying agile practices and modern tooling.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of OO development with Java, Spring, Angular/React, and REST/API work, plus a track record of delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Java, Spring, and full-stack development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software for automotive power management and controls.
• Lead full software development lifecycle including architecture, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver web front-end and back-end components.
• Refactor code for readability and performance; apply XP practices and TDD.
• Engage with customers to understand use-cases and drive user-centric solutions.
• Create high-level architecture designs and define test strategies.
