Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a Software Engineer in Allen Park, MI to design, develop, test, and maintain software across full-stack systems. The role emphasizes collaboration with crossfunctional teams, architecture design, and implementing robust test strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field
• 6+ years in IT; 4+ years in development
• Hands-on embedded C development and MATLAB testing experience
• Experience with hardware testing and low-level debugging is a plus

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use-cases and requirements, advocating for user-centric software solutions
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software across full stack and services; contribute to architecture and API design
• Select appropriate tech stacks, deployment strategies and performance improvements
• Create high-level software architecture designs and collaborate with product owners, designers and architects
• Define and implement test strategies, ensuring quality and regulatory alignment when applicable
• Drive continuous integration and delivery practices and monitor security considerations
