TEKsystems is seeking a contract software engineer in Dearborn, MI to design, develop, test and maintain software products. You will work across the full stack, from UI to server-side APIs and microservices, with a focus on scalable architecture and secure, high-quality code.

You will collaborate with product owners, designers and architects in a hybrid work setup, and contribute to continuous integration and delivery of features for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing, coding and testing software across the full stack.
• Knowledge of modern SDLC practices and agile methodologies.
• Ability to create scalable backend and interactive frontend components.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand use cases and translate them into software solutions.
• Pick suitable tech stack, architecture, deployment approach and tools for the project.
• Create high-level architecture designs showing components and interfaces.
• Collaborate with product, design and architecture teams.
