Job summary

Amazon Photos Alexa Experiences team is hiring a software engineer to design and build full-stack features spanning front-end experiences on Alexa devices and scalable backend services. You will own features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment, and production monitoring.

You will integrate with LLM-powered systems to deliver intelligent, voice-driven photo experiences, collaborate with Alexa platform teams and Photos infrastructure, and help shape

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• 2+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack features spanning front-end experiences on Alexa devices and scalable backend services.
• Own features end-to-end: from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment, and production monitoring.
• Integrate with LLM-powered systems to deliver intelligent, voice-driven photo experiences to customers.
• Collaborate with Alexa platform teams and Photos infrastructure teams to deliver seamless cross-device experiences.
• Contribute to technical direction and architecture decisions for the team.
• Improve developer experience, CI/CD pipelines, and operational excellence across the stack.
