Job summary

Amazon's Alexa Advertising team is seeking a Software Development Engineer to own conversational ad systems on Alexa devices. You will build scalable, real‑time pipelines and cloud‑based services that process billions of ad opportunities annually.

Collaborate with product and research teams to deliver innovative advertising products, optimize latency and cost, and apply distributed systems expertise to a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment.

Qualifications

3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

Build innovative customer experiences utilizing cloud services, backend technologies, and real‑time streaming infrastructure.
