Job summary

BOAB Ventures in Washington, DC seeks a Software Engineer to develop and maintain full stack applications and services supporting AI/ML and analytic mission operations. This role focuses on scalable back-end systems, APIs, and dashboards for enterprise platforms.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, data scientists, and AI practitioners to deliver mission-critical capabilities, and participate in code reviews, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Experience with REST/GraphQL and microservices.
• Proficiency with React/Angular/Vue and Python/JS/Java/Go.
• Experience with databases and cloud platforms.
• Git, testing frameworks, and DevOps tooling.
• Willingness to rapidly learn AI platforms and tool integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement full stack software components for AI/ML and analytic applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices following established architectural patterns.
• Build user interfaces and dashboards for AI system monitoring, control, and mission workflows.
• Implement automated testing and CI practices.
• Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers on system integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in development and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high-quality coding standards.
• Contribute to software architecture decisions and technical documentation.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps tooling under guidance of senior engineers.
• Support MCP server integrations and AI tooling.
