Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Senior Agentic Systems Full-Stack Software Engineer to design and deliver mission-ready software in a fast, agile environment. You will work on a codebase where AI agents draft code from specifications you write, and you’ll review, test, and ship it with rigor.

You will define software architecture, apply modern cloud and container technologies, and help shape the next five years of software development for critical national security systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with full-stack development using Python and modern JS frameworks.
• 3+ years of cloud computing experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• 2+ years of Kubernetes experience.
• 1+ years of agentic engineering experience and writing agent instructions/testable specs.
• Experience with Docker, Helm, Terraform, and deploying LLMs in Kubernetes.
• Experience with AI/LLM application patterns like retrieval-augmented generation, vector DBs, and tool calls.
• Experience with Agile development and Git-based collaboration workflows (GitLab or GitHub).
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 2 months of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Ship features end-to-end across microservices and front-end work including database migrations, service logic, API contracts, UI, and tests.
• Author and maintain the agent harness for AI agents, including instructions and evaluations.
• Extend multi-tenant authorization system with policy evaluation and audits.
• Deploy and operate LLM inference on Kubernetes with vLLM, GPU nodes, and cost accounting.
• Own infrastructure as code with Terraform modules for databases, storage, queues, and secrets.
• Promote releases through staging to production and air-gapped environments.
• Review AI-generated changes for correctness and architectural fit, fixing issues in the harness.
