Job summary

Brightstar Lottery is seeking an experienced software developer to design and implement scalable games and web applications. You will work with Java/C#/C++, Angular, and Spring Boot in a hybrid team focused on secure, reliable lottery technology.

Applicants should have 5+ years of software development experience, a CS degree or equivalent, and strong TDD/BDD practices. The role offers excellent benefits and relocation options where applicable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design Patterns for games and web applications.
• Proficiency in at least one OOP language (Java, C++, C#).
• Experience with Spring Boot (nice to have).
• Familiarity with current-generation frameworks (Angular, Spring Boot).
• Experience with integration tools.
• Solid experience with version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, SVN, CVS).
• Strong background in TDD/BDD methodologies.
• Nice to have: DevOps knowledge, including writing Groovy scripts and running jobs in Jenkins and Azure Build pipelines.
• Ability to pass a security investigation.

Success Profile

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $74,961 - $164,800. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibilityrequirements.
