Job summary

group-surge is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team in San Francisco, CA. You will work directly with the CTO and senior engineering leadership to design, develop, and deploy end-to-end features across the stack, from databases to APIs to polished frontend experiences.

In the first months you will implement new AI model integrations, improve platform reliability, and contribute across the product stack.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong PostgreSQL knowledge, including schema design and query optimisation.

About the Role

We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team and work directly with the CTO and senior engineering leadership.

This role requires engineers who are genuinely full-stack and capable of designing databases, building backend services, developing polished frontend experiences, and deploying production-ready applications.

During the first few months, you will focus on implementing new AI model integrations, improving platform reliability, and contributing across the entire product stack. As you become more familiar with the platform, you will take ownership of increasingly strategic engineering initiatives.

Engineers are also encouraged to engage with customers, participate in technical discussions, and represent the company at industry events when appropriate.
