Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking a full-time Software Engineer to provide full stack developmental support for the AUTUMNATTIC tool built using Java and Angular. Candidates must have 14 years of experience and be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.

The role includes developing capabilities, performing code reviews, and diagnosing user problems, while offering an excellent benefits package including healthcare and 401(k) match.

Job description

Security Clearance

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required. Please do not apply if you do not currently possess this clearance.

Telework

Up to 16 hours per week may be available for this position based on mission needs/available tasking at the discretion of leadership, after the individual has become fully acclimated to the duties and responsibilities of the position and has completed the necessary telework training.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (4 additional years of software engineering experience can substitute for a degree)

Job Description

• Provide full stack developmental support for the AUTUMNATTIC tool built using Java, Angular, and Elasticsearch.
• Develop front‑end and back‑end capabilities based on provided requirements.
• Perform code reviews for capabilities developed by other team members.
• Assist in diagnosing problems users are facing with AUTUMNATTIC.

Required Experience

• Development experience with Java and the Angular framework.
• Build experience with GitLab and Docker.
• Build experience with Kubernetes or Marathon.

Desired Experience

• Experience with language analyzers in Elasticsearch.
• Experience with computer‑assisted translation tools such as LILT.
