Job summary

SRC, Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to join our Applications Engineering team. In this full-stack role, you’ll design, develop, test, deploy and maintain internal business applications across PLM and Cost & Pricing domains, delivering scalable, secure solutions.

You’ll work closely with internal partners, translate requirements into technical designs, and grow expertise in platform architecture, patterns, and best practices while contributing to ongoing modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience developing software solutions.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio or comparable IDEs.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SQL.
• Experience developing full-stack web applications and services using ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core/MVC and Entity Framework.
• Strong communication, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain business-critical applications using C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL, and other languages.
• Build and enhance web applications and services using ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework, and other technologies.
• Analyze system requirements and collaborate with internal users to define functional and technical specifications.
• Translate business requirements into clear, scalable technical designs.
• Partner with senior developers to grow expertise in platform architecture, software design patterns, and domain knowledge.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues requiring code fixes or configuration updates.
• Collaborate across IT and business teams on application integration, data management, and technical debt reduction.
• Support PLM/Configuration Management and Cost & Pricing systems, with opportunities to contribute to additional business domains.
• Recommend modern technologies and best practices to improve system performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Work with software vendors to resolve technical issues and optimize system capabilities.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand processes, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
