Job summary

SRC, Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to join our Applications Engineering team in Syracuse, NY. The role involves full‑stack development across the software lifecycle for internal business applications, with focus on PLM and Cost & Pricing systems.

You’ll design, develop, test, and deploy using C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL, collaborate with business partners, and contribute to architecture and best practices to improve reliability and user experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Engineering.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio or comparable IDEs.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain business-critical applications using C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
• Build and enhance web applications and services using ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework.
• Analyze system requirements and collaborate with internal users to define specs.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.
• Collaborate with senior developers on architecture and patterns.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues requiring code fixes or configuration updates.
• Collaborate across IT and business teams on integration, data management, and debt reduction.
• Support PLM/Configuration Management and Cost & Pricing systems.
• Suggest modern technologies and best practices to improve system performance and UX.
