Job summary

SRC, Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to join our Applications Engineering team to support the full software development lifecycle for internal business applications, including PLM and Cost & Pricing systems.

You will develop in C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL, collaborate with internal users, and translate requirements into scalable solutions while improving performance and reliability across critical domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio or comparable IDEs.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SQL.
• Experience developing full-stack web applications and web services using ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core/MVC and Entity Framework.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain business-critical applications using C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL, and other languages.
• Build and enhance web applications and services using ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework, and other technologies.
• Analyze system requirements and collaborate with internal users to define functional and technical specifications.
• Translate business requirements into clear, scalable technical designs.
• Partner with senior developers to grow expertise in platform architecture, software design patterns, and domain knowledge.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues requiring code fixes or configuration updates.
• Collaborate across IT and business teams on application integration, data management, and technical debt reduction.
• Support PLM/Configuration Management and Cost & Pricing systems, with opportunities to contribute to additional business domains.
• Recommend modern technologies and best practices to improve system performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Work with software vendors to resolve technical issues and optimize system capabilities.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand processes, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
