Job summary

SRC, Inc. is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to join the Applications Engineering team in Syracuse, NY. This full-stack role supports the complete software lifecycle across internal business applications, working in PLM and Cost & Pricing domains.

You’ll design, develop, test, and deploy applications using C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL, collaborating with internal users to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of professional experience developing software solutions
• Proficiency with Visual Studio or comparable IDEs
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, SQL
• Experience developing full-stack web applications and web services using ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core/MVC and Entity Framework
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain business-critical applications using C#, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL
• Build and enhance web applications and services using ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework, and other technologies
• Analyze system requirements and collaborate with internal users to define functional and technical specifications
• Translate business requirements into clear, scalable technical designs
• Partner with senior developers to grow expertise in platform architecture, software design patterns, and domain knowledge
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues requiring code fixes or configuration updates
• Collaborate across IT and business teams on application integration, data management, and technical debt reduction
• Support PLM/Configuration Management and Cost & Pricing systems, with opportunities to contribute to additional business domains
• Recommend modern technologies and best practices to improve system performance, reliability, and user experience
• Work with software vendors to resolve technical issues and optimize system capabilities
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand processes, challenges, and improvement opportunities

In this full-stack development role, you’ll support the complete software development lifecycle—analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance—of internal business applications. You’ll work in critical domains such as Configuration Management/Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Cost & Pricing systems, building scalable, secure applications that streamline operations and support enterprise growth. What You’ll Do

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated at $93,000 to $110,000 annually.
