Innova Solutions is seeking a .NET Developer (Junior/Mid-Level) for a 12-month contract-to-hire engagement in Des Moines, IA. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH).

You will design and build full-stack applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core, and implement RESTful APIs while ensuring security and quality through testing and SDLC activities. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with OO design, SQL Server, and AI-assisted coding tools like GitHub Copilot.

Qualifications

• Hands-on .NET Full Stack development with C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Apply OO design principles and design patterns.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server, relational DB design, performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing and test automation tools.
• Experience identifying, analyzing, and remediating application security vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• As a .Net Developer you will develop and maintain full-stack applications using C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate front-end with back-end services.
• Apply OO principles and design patterns to build scalable solutions.
• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL Server databases and complex queries.
• Use AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity and code quality.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure reliability.
• Implement test automation frameworks and support continuous testing practices.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities using secure coding standards.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to SDLC activities.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and communicate with stakeholders.
