Job summary

2nd Adventure in Grinnell, IA seeks a Senior Software Developer for Digital Integrations. This hands-on role builds and supports applications, APIs, integrations, and business tools using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Azure.

Hybrid work may be available; relocation within commuting distance or onsite work is expected. You will mentor others, influence engineering practices, and leverage AI-assisted development tools while collaborating with Product Owners, QA, and Architects to deliver scalable tech

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on software development experience in backend and full-stack teams.
• Experience designing, building, and supporting APIs, integrations, and enterprise apps.
• Strong knowledge of software design, secure development, and testing practices.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and support applications, APIs, integration services, and business tools using C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Azure.
• Build and maintain integrations connecting eCommerce, ERP, WMS, retail, third-party, and internal systems.
• Provide senior technical input on solution design, architecture, scalability, maintainability, security, and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, performance, and production issues across multiple system layers.
• Conduct code reviews and help strengthen development, testing, source control, and documentation standards.
• Mentor developers through pairing, design discussions, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and developer productivity.
• Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, Architects, Infrastructure, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
