Job summary

CAI is seeking a motivated Full Stack Developer to enhance a customer communications platform. The role involves development, maintenance, integration, testing, and production support across the software development lifecycle. This is a contract, hybrid position based in Washington, DC or Alexandria, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in application development, systems analysis, or related IT disciplines.
• 5+ years building, testing, and supporting enterprise software.
• Hands-on with .NET Core and Node.js.
• Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
• Ability to translate requirements into software solutions.
• Experience with SDLC, APIs, and system integration.
• Proficient with Git and secure coding practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Design, develop, modify, test, and maintain applications and interfaces.
• Develop APIs, data interfaces, and integrations.
• Write and optimize database queries and data models.
• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing.
• Troubleshoot defects and production incidents.
• Prepare technical documentation and support materials.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across lifecycle stages.
