Job summary

University of Cincinnati seeks a Software Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and support web-based applications and integrations within a primarily Microsoft .NET environment. The role collaborates with university teams and external partners to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centered software solutions.

This is a temporary assignment anticipated to last about one to two years, staffed through a third-party agency and not an employee of the University.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing modern web applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and web services.
• Strong front-end basics: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance full-stack software applications and APIs.
• Create and maintain API specifications, documentation, and unit/integration tests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Agile teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
