Job summary

University of Cincinnati is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications and integrations within a Microsoft .NET environment. The role emphasizes secure, scalable, maintainable software and collaboration with university teams.

The assignment is temporary, through a third-party payrolling agency, with close interaction with UC technology groups.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing modern web applications using both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Strong proficiency with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Experience developing web applications using ASP.NET Core or related Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern web practices.
• Experience designing, developing, integrating, and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Understanding of OOP, software design principles, reusable components, and architecture.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex application and integration issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance full-stack software applications, APIs, integrations, and databases.
• Develop intermediate to advanced applications using C#, .NET, and other modern frameworks.
• Translate business needs into effective technical solutions through collaboration with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain API specifications, documentation, and artifacts for support.
