Job summary

University of Cincinnati is seeking a Software Developer for a temporary 1–2 year assignment. Will design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack applications in a Microsoft .NET environment, collaborating with university teams and partners.

Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs, services, and data components, with emphasis on secure coding, documentation, and Agile practices. Role is through a third-party payrolling agency and temporary in nature.

Qualifications

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain full-stack software applications, APIs, and data components.
• Develop with C#, .NET and modern frameworks following established software engineering practices.
• Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions with stakeholders.
• Create and maintain API specifications, documentation and configuration artifacts.
• Write unit/integration tests and participate in reviews and testing activities.
• Follow secure coding practices and web app security standards.
• Work in Agile teams with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain full-stack applications, APIs, integrations, and databases.
• Create and maintain APIs and integrations connecting enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
• Write tests and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, QA, security, and operations to support production.
