Job summary

Acuity Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Developer to analyze, design, develop, and support software solutions that enable manufacturing operations, automation, error proofing, and traceability in a full-stack environment.

You will collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders in an Agile setting, contributing to Industry 4.0 initiatives while maintaining and enhancing existing applications and APIs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of software development experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with C# and .NET.
• At least 3 years of experience developing or working with REST APIs.
• Experience with full-stack development, including front-end, back-end, and data development.
• Experience with SQL, queries, data manipulation, and stored procedures.
• Experience developing web apps using Blazor and/or ASP.NET.
• Experience with Git or similar version control tools.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, and support software for manufacturing operations, automation, error proofing, and traceability.
• Develop full-stack applications across front-end, back-end, and data layers using C#, .NET, Blazor, ASP.NET, and SQL.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrations between manufacturing and enterprise systems.
• Develop new in-house solutions while maintaining and enhancing existing and legacy applications.
• Support manufacturing traceability applications from raw material receipt to finished product.
• Coordinate project tasks, deliverables, timelines, testing, and implementation activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and manufacturing needs into technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process and technology improvements and contribute to Industry 4.0/5.0 initiatives.
• Perform unit and automated testing to ensure quality and reliability.
• Maintain technical documentation using Azure DevOps.
