Job summary

FastTek Global in Lansing, MI is seeking a Java/React software developer to join the MDOT project teams. You will collaborate with project managers, application owners, and UI/UX designers to deliver modern, responsive web interfaces and robust backend services.

You will work on an agile development team, write tests, deploy code, and continuously improve system quality. Strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to learn quickly are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive Java backend development experience and modern React.js front-end work.
• Proficiency with Java 8 and Spring Framework, plus Hibernate/JPA experience.
• Experience in agile software development environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the project manager, application owner, and resource manager to organize work.
• Develop, test, and deploy code within an agile team.
• Build and refine UI/UX with React in collaboration with UI/UX designers.
