Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design and implement scalable frontend and backend components for asset onboarding and media workflows.

You will connect UI with backend services via RESTful APIs and build backend services with Node.js, while collaborating across product, design, QA and engineering teams. Qualifications

• 3–6 years in Full Stack Development with strong frontend emphasis.
• Experience building backend services with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Understanding of modern web app architecture and lifecycle management.
• Experience building scalable, high performing web apps.
• Hands-on containerization and orchestration (Docker).
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platform and AWS Lambda.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern delivery practices.
• Experience integrating frontend with enterprise APIs and data services.
• Knowledge of frontend performance optimization and debugging.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance customer-facing Platform UI components that support asset onboarding and media processing workflows.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services through RESTful APIs.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, QA teams, and developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Create new user-facing features that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Validate and secure user input before submission to backend services.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to coding standards and development best practices.
• Assist in testing efforts, issue resolution, and continuous quality improvements.
• Support project delivery through design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases.
• Troubleshoot application issues and implement creative, scalable solutions.
• Configure and support platform functionality through integrations, plugins, and supporting technologies.
• Stay updated on emerging web development trends, frameworks, AI technologies, and industry best practices.
