Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to design and implement scalable frontend and backend components for asset onboarding and media workflows.

You will connect UI with backend services via RESTful APIs and build backend services with Node.js, while collaborating across product, design, QA and engineering teams. The role emphasizes performance, reliability, and secure input handling, with opportunities to influence architecture, CI/CD practices, and modernization efforts

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in Full Stack Development with strong frontend emphasis.
• Experience building backend services with Node.js and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
• Understanding of modern web app architecture and lifecycle management.
• Experience building scalable, high performing web apps.
• Hands-on containerization and orchestration (Docker).
• Familiarity with AWS cloud platform and AWS Lambda.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern delivery practices.
• Experience integrating frontend with enterprise APIs and data services.
• Knowledge of frontend performance optimization and debugging.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–6 years of experience in Full Stack Development with a strong emphasis on Frontend Engineering.
• Strong experience developing backend applications and services using Node.js.
• Proven experience designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of modern web application architecture and application lifecycle management.
• Experience building scalable, responsive, and high-performing web applications.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including:
  • Docker
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience with serverless architectures, including AWS Lambda.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience integrating front-end applications with enterprise APIs and data services.
• Knowledge of frontend performance optimization techniques and best practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with live video platforms, video streaming applications, or video editing tools.
• Experience building AI-powered solutions utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience developing LLM Agents and MCP-based solutions.
• Working knowledge of Golang.
• Experience with deployment automation and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as:
  • Terraform
  • Crossplane
• Exposure to video processing, media workflows, or live-stream visualization platforms.
• Experience incorporating AI capabilities into customer-facing applications.
• Experience working with CMS, eCommerce platforms, or digital content management systems.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (Preferred)
