Job summary

National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC) is seeking a seasoned software developer to join the iVUEConnect Financials team. You will contribute to full stack development, building responsive web apps and RESTful services, while exploring intelligent agent-based features to automate workflows.

You will work in a hybrid model from multiple office locations, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust enterprise solutions for accounting, HR, payroll, and procurement

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Angular and TypeScript; Java or similar OO language.
• Experience with RDBMS (Postgres, Oracle) and cloud tech (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with microservices, Spring Boot, Kafka and SSO.
• Knowledge of modern software engineering principles and testing (unit/integration).
• Experience with Git workflows and issue tracking tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo).

Responsibilities

• Design and build responsive web applications
• Stand up RESTful web services
• Container-driven development (Kubernetes, microservices)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features
• Research, analyze, and resolve moderately complex customer issues
• Unit test and integration test code as needed
• Follow established software development methodologies
• Explore intelligent agent-based features to automate workflows
• Other duties as assigned
