Job summary

NISC is seeking a Software Developer II for the iVUEConnect Financials Development team, delivering enterprise‑class web applications and RESTful services. You’ll work on a hybrid schedule from Mandan, ND or other offices, collaborate across teams, and explore agentic AI features to enhance workflows.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software development, strong Angular/TypeScript, Java, and cloud experience. Join a cooperative that values integrity, relationships, and innovation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in software development.
• Proficient with Angular and TypeScript; familiar with GWT.
• Java or other object‑oriented programming experience.
• Experience with RDBMS (Postgres, Oracle).
• Experience with cloud technology stack (AWS, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Kafka, SSO, Cassandra).
• Proficient in developing responsive content and optimizing performance.
• Understanding of modern software engineering principles.
• Experience with automated testing methods and Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build responsive web applications.
• Stand up RESTful web services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, and implement new features.
• Research, analyze, and resolve moderately complex issues and bugs.
• Unit test and integration test code as needed.
• Follow established software development methodologies.
