Job summary

NISC is seeking a Software Developer II for the Financials iVUEConnect team in St. Louis, MO. You will contribute to full stack development, building responsive web apps and RESTful services while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features that support General Accounting, HR, Payroll, and purchasing workflows.

The role emphasizes agentic AI exploration, modern web practices, and a commitment to quality through testing and iterative improvement. Hybrid office schedule required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science-related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficient with Angular, TypeScript or GWT; Java or other OO programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and build responsive web applications.
• Stand up RESTful web services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, and implement new features.
• Research, analyze, and resolve moderately complex customer issues and bugs.
• Unit test and integration test code as needed.
• Follow all established software development methodologies and procedures.
• Explore and prototype intelligent agent-based features to enhance UX or automate workflows.
• Other duties as assigned.
