Job summary

Paperpile in the United States seeks a frontend/backend engineer to own substantial parts of the codebase, delivering polished UI and backend services for new features and products.

You will write and maintain frontend (Playwright) and backend tests, helping keep our CI/CD pipelines healthy and efficient. Strong React and TypeScript skills, plus backend Node.js experience, are required.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of React and production React applications.
• Ability to deliver pixel-perfect, production-ready code from Figma.
• Strong eye for detail and fast, enjoyable user interactions.
• Solid TypeScript knowledge and web tech fundamentals.
• Backend skills in Node.js and API consumption/implementation.
• Experience with tests using Playwright or similar.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of substantial parts of our codebase.
• Ship polished UI and connected backend features for new products.
• Write and maintain frontend (Playwright) and backend tests.
