Ladders is seeking a Full Stack Engineer - Trust and Safety to join our team. This role focuses on building and improving systems that detect, prevent, and respond to abuse across the platform, balancing security with user experience in a fast-moving SaaS environment.

You will work with Product, Operations, and Data teams to strengthen reliability, improve compliance communications, and develop tools that streamline account reviews. Remote US-based role; visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience in a SaaS or tech environment.
• Backend development with service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with Rails, Node/TypeScript, or Go.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL for data validation.
• Analytical mindset focused on system misuse prevention.
• Good judgment in balancing security measures with user experience.
• Commitment to clean, maintainable code and thoughtful testing.
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

For our client, we are seeking a Full Stack Engineer - Trust and Safety to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will focus on building and improving systems that help detect, prevent, and respond to abuse across the company's platform. You will work closely with Product, Operations, and Data partners to strengthen system reliability, improve compliance-related communications, and create tools that support efficient account review workflows. The position calls for a balanced approach to security, user experience, and durable engineering solutions in a fast-moving SaaS environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $187,680 – $227,424 annually
