Job summary

Calendly is seeking a Trust & Safety Engineer to build and improve systems that detect and stop abuse across sign-up, booking, and messaging.

You will help improve reliability, deliverability, and compliance of email and SMS notifications, and respond to active abuse by partnering with Product, Operations, and Data to define requirements.

This role works across teams to keep real traffic safe and trust intact.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve abuse-detection systems across sign-up, booking, and messaging (spam, phishing, bots).
• Improve reliability and compliance of email/SMS notifications; measure performance on real traffic.
• Respond to active abuse and build tools for Trust & Safety Ops with Product, Operations, and Data.
