Job summary

Xebia is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our AI-first, engineering-focused teams. You will work across backend (JVM-based) and frontend (React + TypeScript) to build scalable web applications, APIs, and integrations while embracing SOLID, DRY, and modern testing practices.

Ideal candidates have strong HTML/CSS, experience with microservices, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure. English proficiency is required and work in EU regions with a valid permit is expected.

You are:

Senior-level Full-Stack development experience with a modern web technology stack.
Strong backend experience with a server-side language, preferably JVM-based.
Professional experience building Single Page Applications, preferably with React and TypeScript.
Strong frontend development skills, including HTML, CSS, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.
Experience designing, building and maintaining APIs and integrations.
Good understanding of software engineering principles, including SOLID, DRY and data/ER modelling.
Experience with automated testing, code review and modern software quality practices.
Experience working with cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools and troubleshooting production/application issues.
Experience with CI/CD practices.
Experience with build and version control tools, such as Maven and Git/GitHub.
Experience working in Agile teams, using Scrum or Kanban and tools such as Jira.
Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with Product, UX and engineering teams.

Your profile:

• Good knowledge of Python and Kotlin.
• Experience working with microservices architecture.
• Practical experience with React and modern JavaScript.
• Good knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Understanding of REST API design and consumption.
• Hands-on experience working with JSON.
• Willingness to work on both backend and frontend development.
• Ability to switch quickly between different technology areas.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required.

Nice to have:

• • Experience with Docker and CI/CD processes (GitLab CI).
