Job summary

Porter is the cloud platform that abstracts Kubernetes to let engineering teams run anything, anywhere. We are hiring a full stack engineer fluent in React/TypeScript, comfortable working across the Go backend and Kubernetes/Helm APIs.

You will push critical code daily and contribute to architectural decisions as we expand our PaaS capabilities. The role involves building features on the Porter dashboard, enhancing the Go API, and creating applets for MySQL, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and other

Qualifications

• Fluency with React/TypeScript is expected.
• Willingness to learn Go and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work across the stack (PaaS on Kubernetes).
• Comfort with rapid, daily code contributions.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features on the Porter dashboard.
• Develop Go API to support Kubernetes/Helm behaviors.
• Create applets/add-ons for MySQL, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.
• Improve UI/UX and dashboard organization.
• Raise code quality and engineering culture.
