Job summary

Porter in New York City is seeking a pixel-perfectionist frontend engineer to own frontend engineering and elevate our product’s polish as we scale. Our frontend uses React and TypeScript, and you will drive the UI to feel Apple-like while tackling cloud infrastructure complexity.

This in-person role rewards ownership and attention to detail. You will harmonize design language with code quality, contribute to component libraries, and collaborate with backend and design teams to deliver

The Role:

We're looking for a pixel-perfectionist frontend engineer. Ideally, we want someone with both programming and design chops who can own frontend engineering and take our product’s polish to the next level as we scale.

This role would involve maximum ownership. Currently, our engineering team heavily leans towards backend/infrastructure. We believe in craft. Everything is in the details.

Our frontend is built on React and Typescript.

You will:

• Obsess over the standardized component library and design language of our platform
• Bring an Apple-like user experience to the notoriously frustrating realm of cloud infrastructure
• Raise the standard for code quality and our engineering culture
