Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design and build scalable applications in a fast-paced environment in Washington, DC. You will collaborate with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to deliver robust features and services.

The role requires strong React.js frontend skills and hands-on backend experience with Node.js, Golang, or Python, plus cloud and containerization expertise using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with React.js and full-stack development.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, Golang, and/or Python.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable frontend applications using React.js.
• Develop backend APIs and services using Node.js, Golang, and/or Python.
• Build and maintain microservices and distributed systems.
• Develop and deploy cloud-based applications using AWS.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to deliver new features.
• Ensure seamless frontend and backend integration with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and CI/CD automation.
• Document technical designs, APIs, and workflows.
• Work closely with UX designers to ensure implementations match the intended user experience.
