Job summary

Nametag, a remote-first, US-based team, seeks backend engineers to own Postgres schemas, migrations, indexing, and region-aware data design. You will enforce tenant isolation and data residency across regions to ensure compliance.

You will design coherent public APIs, implement authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and idempotency, and deliver scalable solutions for identity verification workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience with PostgreSQL schema design, migrations and indexing.
• Ability to design scalable data models with tenant isolation and data classification.
• Proven ability to optimize query performance and ensure operational health of databases.
