Job summary

the company is seeking a senior full‑stack engineer to define and build a new class of learning experiences that teach enterprise users how to use AI safely and effectively. This hands-on role covers frontend, backend, data, and runtime integration with strong emphasis on measuring learning outcomes.

You will work across education, engineering, and product teams, shipping early versions and iterating based on evidence and user feedback to scale the learning platform within enterprise contexts.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience building and operating high-quality user-facing products with staff-level technical leadership and hands-on delivery.
• Experience in 0-to-1 or fast-moving product environments where user needs and success metrics evolve.
• Strong user empathy and a high bar for product craft, reliability, safety, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision and execution for OAI’s native learning offering.
• Build end-to-end product experiences that help users learn AI through real work, starting in ChatGPT.
• Design core systems behind experiences, including learner state, content, telemetry, and evaluation.
• Create reusable components and internal tools for education partners to develop learning experiences.
• Collaborate with education, engineering, design, data, content, and customer-facing teams to translate goals into requirements.
• Define learner intent for each release and evaluate quality, learning transfer, and adoption.
