Job summary

RE Partners is seeking an experienced platform engineer to drive stability, performance, and scalability for a leading editorial messaging platform. You will own and optimize pipelines, notifications, email systems, and platform orchestration.

You will deliver resilient solutions, improve observability, and advocate architecture decisions across teams while supporting on-call rotations and cost-aware improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with TypeScript, React, Go, and AWS infrastructure.
• Proven ability to optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience improving tooling, pipelines, and developer efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Improve editorial and marketing messaging pipelines and tooling.
• Own systems within the platform, making autonomous architectural decisions and leading deployments.
• Enhance observability and multi-region orchestration.
• Recommend technology, product, and cost optimizations to management.
• Support the team during on-call rotations (approx. every 6-8 weeks, 2-week duration).
