Job summary

Jobtailor in Colorado is seeking a full-stack software engineer to develop prototypes for prospective customers and to build internal software products. You will create scalable, high-performance applications using Node.js, TypeScript, Rust, and C#.

Collaborate with UI/UX and product teams, implement RESTful APIs and microservices, and deliver modern front-ends with React, Angular, or Vue. Occasional travel up to 15% and readiness for U.S. security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
• 3+ years of experience in software development with full-stack expertise.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and/or .NET (C#).
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience building and deploying web and desktop, mobile, or tablet applications.
• Understanding of databases and performance measurement.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with REST, WebSockets, and message queues such as Kafka.
• Understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be willing and eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance at the Secret or Top-Secret level.

Responsibilities

• Develop software prototypes for prospective customers and build internal software products.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Node.js, TypeScript, Rust, and C#.
• Work on software features and projects with minimal supervision.
• Provide technical input and follow architectural direction.
• Implement and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Create dynamic and responsive user interfaces with React, Angular, or Vue.
• Implement and utilize databases and database transaction layers.
• Collaborate with UI/UX and product teams to understand customer needs.
• Document development progress using Git, Jira, and Confluence.
• Participate in peer code reviews.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and full-stack development best practices.
• Travel up to 15%.
