Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a software engineer to develop and maintain the full technology stack across projects. You will debug complex problems, collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features, and write clean, well-documented code.

You will participate in code reviews and continuously learn new technologies to apply to live products. The role requires a BS in Computer Science or Software Engineering, strong fundamentals, and experience with C#, JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and software development principles.
• Experience with one or more programming languages from our tech stack (C#, JavaScript, Python).
• Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS).
• Basic understanding of database concepts (SQL Server or MySQL).
• Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Understanding of when to utilize GenAI tools appropriately and when to code without assistance.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing priorities.
• Project experience with one or more technologies in our stack (C#, JS, NodeJS, Python, HTML/CSS) (preferred).
• Experience with git (preferred).
• Knowledge of responsive design principles (preferred).
• Experience with AWS or cloud services (preferred).
• Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices architecture (preferred).
